Hip hop pioneer-turned-minister Kurtis Blow was caught at LAX with marijuana in his possession. New body scanners installed by TSA revealed what was described as an "anomaly" in the rapper's pants. According to TMZ, after Kurtis was patted down, authorities discovered his pot stash.
As per California law, the rapper, 51, was only issued a ticket for the violation, because it was less than an ounce of the drug. The incident comes as the TSA is working to deploy over 400 body scanners in airports around the country.
